I knew a few projects...but had no idea of the scale of the excavations going on in my own city! Haaretz covered all the projects and their long-term goals aswell as all the balagan/messy politicals that surrounds it.. a worthwhile read for all those interested in archaeology and especially the controversies of Heritage and Legitimacy in Israel.
